SERVICE EXCELLENCE
The Service Excellence program focuses on our norms and values that characterize our local service, the authentic service that our people provide in our tourism industry. We call this, “service with Zjeito”. In this session we will focus how we can maintain the aspect of one happy island.
Service Excellence Training
Day 1
The Service Excellence training program is developed around the Service Excellence Pyramid. On the first day of training, the participants will be introduced to the following concepts:
- Service Excellence
- Core Competences of Service Excellence
- ‘Zjeito’
Other important topics we discuss:
- Aruba’s brand promise ‘One Happy Island
- What is ‘Sense of Hospitality’ and ‘Hospitality Experience’
Additionally, we will focus on the concept of ‘Zjeito’, the participants will be presented with the genuine Aruban intention of providing excellent service, with the nine values of ‘Zjeito’ as starting point and guiding principle.
Day 2
On the second day of training, the participants will be introduced with Excellent Attitude and Excellent Communication which forms the foundation of the Service Excellence Pyramid.

- Excellent Communication
Duration of the training: 2 sessions, 3 hours each
Language: Papiamento or English
Requirements for participating: Participants must be A.C.P. Certified
Content: Service Excellence Pyramid, Core Competences of Service Excellence, Zjeito, Aruba Brand Identity, Excellent Communication, – Excellent Attitude.
